5 Plants That Will Make Your Life Better

One of the biggest concerns when working in closed areas is the air.  However, the solution for that has been right in front of our faces all this time, plants.  Plant are so good at cleaning the air that NASA has done several studies to understand just how well a plant can do. If NASA was willing to do the research you should probably take the advise and use these natural filters that can also make your home look better.

1. Lavender

This plant can reduce stress & anxiety. I’m sure you have seen lavender oil and candles in stores, this product is know to help balance your mood. If you brew the leafs and mix with hot water you will have a at home remedy for sleep complications.

2. Aloe Vera

This is another plant that is a common substance in lotions, oils, and all other type of skin products.  You can use this in any hair type from 1a to 4c and it will naturally moisture your hair.  Its also a great face treatment with a good smell.

3. Peace Lily

In studies from NASA it has been proven that this plant can clean the air of pollutions that cause several skin irritations.  It is an easy plant to grow making it a perfect house hold plant the doubles as a filter. However, this plant is not as useful for cat & dogs so if you are a pet lover I would suggests you not pick this one.

4. Bamboo Palm

This was another tested plant to find natural ways to clean the air.  This plant does not need much sun so it is a good choice for homes or the offices.  If you want cleaner air in your homes plants like this can help.

5. Mother-in-Law’s Tongue

Now most people will refer to this as the Snake Plant but for obvious reason I felt that its other name should be known. This is probably the most productive at turn CO2 into oxygen. It would be idea for areas of the home that may be damp like a basement getting rid of all of those harmful toxins for you.

So if you want less Formaldehyde, Benzene, and Trichloroethylene in your home this is the way to do it.
